Which part of his body did they shoot?
wouldn't that be ironic if they hit it there
My guess in the panic of being shot at,they aimed for the torso center mass
Not due to panic. All law enforcement officers are trained to aim and shoot for centre of mass. They’re trained to shoot to kill, not to piss around trying some Hollywood movie move like shooting a knee or trying to shoot a gun out of someone’s hand. If they have to discharge their weapon it means there’s a lethal threat to them or others and the person they’re shooting at needs to be taken out. They don’t fire warning shots etc. They’re trained to react with a kill shot to the chest.
Not Always.
Brattleboro Vermont police got sued for killing a man wielding a knife at a church,it was claimed later he was mentally ill.
About 7 or 8 years later there was a man with either a knife or a gun I don't remember, outside the Brattleboro,VT police station and a police woman shot the hand holding the weapon, knocking the weapon out of his hand.
