Meth should never be legal,ever.
The cartel had a parade for Day of the Dead in Puerto Vallarta with their cars lit up with CARTEL in big letters.The locals on the side of the street didn’t look very happy.Not like a usual parade where folks are throwing out candy to kids.
Bad for tourism,Puerto Vallarta has always been laid back and safe to visit.Many American expats live there.Its lovely,friendly people,art, reasonable prices.

Yeah, this. Be very careful who's help you accept, it always comes with strings attached in some form or another and in this case, those strings could hang you.

Are you talking about prescription amphetamine?There are a few legit uses,but it should be regulated heavily.The military sometimes uses it.
Street meth is evil,my state used to be number three in mom and pop production before they locked the pseudo up.It stopped the pollution from the basement labs and people dumping their leftover chemicals in sink holes or old wells.
I’ve never met one tweaker that meth has benefited.There have been horrendous crimes committed by people jeetered out.I know people who have been murdered by tweakers.
Now it’s all cartel meth.
It used to be the whiskey drinkers that tended to get violent, but drunks eventually pass out.Tweakers go wide open 24/7.
