Oh you know the left will freak out, look their replacing black characters with white ones. Their whit washing our food.

Cause rice is a Chinese invention and so non Chinese shouldn’t eat it.
We are told we can’t use black peoples clothes, can’t eat black peoples food, can’t use black peoples products or it’s culture appropriation. I doubt the black people who made the stuff would feel that way, they probably want as many people to buy the stuff as possible. My sisters hair is fragile and breaks, like black peoples hair apparently, but she’s afraid to buy the products made to protect such hair cause it’s considered black culture and people have been attacked for wearing it when not black.
There’s now white culture appropriation though despite most things coming from white European culture. All non whites cant wear shoes or pants. Stop eating italian pasta unless you cook from Italian family.

On that not what’s so,e good nit strange English food? Cause I, English,Canadian, Scottish and German. I don’t care for sourkraut or eel pie, or thst strange sheep thing Scottish people like.

I somewhat get the aunt/uncle slavery connotations, even if it never had that association around here; "uncle" just meant exactly that. But what was so terrible about the baker guy logo?

Wild rice grows in America so it’s not just a Chinese invention.Most rice in America is grown in Arkansas by Riceland so maybe an Arkansan.

What I honestly don't get is that it is considered racist to have a picture of a person who has black skin on a product, where it is not considered racist to have a picture of a white person on a product.
Also, correct me if I am wrong here, but isn-t employing someone as a newsreader racist if one goes to look for a certain race and therefore discriminate against the others? Likewize, it would be sexism to purposly only employ a lady for a job based on her gender, as sexism is chosing someone based on their sex in order to excluse any other sex, and racism is chosing someone based on their race in order to exclude any other race.

The only real way to not be sexist or racist is to employ based entirely on a non racial criteria such as previous work experience in the line of work one wants an employee to be capeable of. I personally believe that job application forms should only ask for the persons sirname, and I personally thought it very discriminatory here in Britain when the wmployer states in order that they are seen to be non-discriminatory, would you please fill in the next form... And on that next form it asks you to fill out your skin colour and race, your gender and your eeligious beliefs. Now correct me if I am wrong, but the act of asking for this information is discriminatory as it can only be used to discriminate, as to not ask for this information means the potential employer has no plans to discriminate whatsoever. The act of asking means one is making decisions on who to employ based on picking out a person from a minority group to employ them, and doing this is directly discriminating against all the other peope who applied.

I would like racism to be “fixed.”

What I'm hoping for is an equal drop in the number of both actual racists and the people who need it to be there either to explain the general hardships of life or to be rewarded for having found it. I'm also dearly hoping that the anti-scientific bearing in many of the flanks in these movements drops off and the opposite gains far more strength, ie. checking intuitions against numbers, taking every step possible to give African American and native American children and young adults both better science education, enhanced tools for effective problem solving, and this way the map of reality that they're working with and their success in using it will accelerate over time. There are plenty of people in these ethnic groups who are brighter than I'll ever be and I'd hope that all of them find what they need to both get ahead and then help the institutional and historical economic and resource wrongs be rectified by passing the tools for success back.

IMHO what a lot of these communities have lacked the most, much over and above the police issue, is equal opportunity to succeed, learn, and have their minds cultivated for the express purposes of being to self-author and take the reigns effectively themselves. I'd even say that this should be extended to Appalachia, people born into cycles of poverty after a while learn to live in it and the strategies for surviving in that kind of ecosystem tend to discard hope of getting back out.

Mars. Inc. can name their rice as they please but this is a stretch. Nazi's used the Jewish star to mark Jews for death, a lot worse then what the racists did yet no Jews I have read about have disowned the Jewish star based on how the Nazis used it, it is on the Israeli flag, prominent in most synagogues.

As the "mammy" image came from minstrel shows the racism connection to Aunt Jemima is more concrete. Yet the first Aunt Jemima model Nancy Green born into slavery used the money she earned to do missionary work and advocate for civil rights. This was a version of what is known as reappropriation a concept that will forever be foreign to those enforcing cancel culture on us.
