Not really...Had you done any research you would have been aware that the computers (which under the contract agreed to when taken for repairs said the store could take possesion if left there for longer than 90 days, from memory) were the possesion of the store owner, who had notified the FBI, providing them the items requested in the subpoena, but keeping a copy which he later passed to Mr. Giuliani.
It's not a case of the FBI leaking selective information to people for political reasons. Not that they would ever do such a thing, of course...

Who knows (I certainly don't), being they had it from December last year, yet nothing has been publicly announced. Maybe there is interesting information and some form of investigation ongoing, maybe there is just what is slowly being released...Or maybe no-one there even looked at its contents.

That being the case, it would seem likely that some form of confirmation of the contents had been done, and the planning for an extended drip-feed of the contents was scheduled, rather than spontaneous\rushed.

Basically, this is not anything.
That would depend:
* You could do a major drop of everything in one go, certainly, but that comes with the risk that it gets minimal coverage, either through various sources not mentioning it (or censoring mention of it), or gets coverage one day and forgotten the next.
* Alternatively, you could "package" the information into smaller releases, both to allow better focus on individual components, as well as ensuring it stays "front and centre", rather than drifting into the background.
As to whether it is "not anything", or a "weak contrived story": that is entirely a decision for the person reading\seeing the information to make for themselves. One person may indeed see it as such, while another may see it as possibly\probably true...A partisan will automatically accept or reject any information that supports\hinders their "side", whilst a person with an open-mind on the subject would analyse the information, along with any other information they are aware of\have brought to their attention (or ideally, they find through their own research), and make a decision based on that.
The fact that the Biden family have (as far as I know) not made any claim that the information released thus far is false\faked, however, does tend to suggest that the emails, etc. are "real"...Whether the assertions being made in relation to them are accurate, however, is a seperate matter.

The 10 pages of statement by Justice Thomas (as opposed to nothing, or at best a single paragraph for the many other cases denied "writ of certiorari" in the document) seem to indicate a willingness for SCOTUS to take up an appropriate case related to the ability for sites such as Twitter and Facebook to censor content, and whether, by doing so they should lose the protection which they have that does not apply to other publishers\media sources.

If the reporting is accurate, it seems that the emails and photographs (and videos?) on the laptop had been in Mr Giuliani's possession for some months, rather than a newly-discovered item. That being the case, it would seem likely that some form of confirmation of the contents had been done, and the planning for an extended drip-feed of the contents was scheduled, rather than spontaneous\rushed.
They would have announced anything important immediately. What is the incentive to disclose a weak contrived story when you could get a impactful story out that can then be used to reframe the conversation?
Basically, this is not anything.
That would depend:
* You could do a major drop of everything in one go, certainly, but that comes with the risk that it gets minimal coverage, either through various sources not mentioning it (or censoring mention of it), or gets coverage one day and forgotten the next.
* Alternatively, you could "package" the information into smaller releases, both to allow better focus on individual components, as well as ensuring it stays "front and centre", rather than drifting into the background.
As to whether it is "not anything", or a "weak contrived story": that is entirely a decision for the person reading\seeing the information to make for themselves. One person may indeed see it as such, while another may see it as possibly\probably true...A partisan will automatically accept or reject any information that supports\hinders their "side", whilst a person with an open-mind on the subject would analyse the information, along with any other information they are aware of\have brought to their attention (or ideally, they find through their own research), and make a decision based on that.
The fact that the Biden family have (as far as I know) not made any claim that the information released thus far is false\faked, however, does tend to suggest that the emails, etc. are "real"...Whether the assertions being made in relation to them are accurate, however, is a seperate matter.
Well, if you are just feeding your base with conspiracy theories, then the drip approach is fine. You are not changing the landscape. Which simply shows how unimportant this "story" is.
However, if you are trying to influence an election by bring in people to vote for you, then the drip method is ineffective. If you had a real significant story, you would drop it and then keep the focus on it (if it is big, the media will cover it). And you would do that sooner than later as you also need to get people before they vote early.
