I don't really use electric light, so in that sense I am off grid.

I do use coloured lights when I'm able to tolerate it, but the rest of the time I live by candlelight or the glow of my laptop.

It's very annoying when it isn't dark until 9 or 10 pm.

My uncle actually lived off grid for the last twenty years of his life. Totally unsearchable and self-sufficient.

If you have one and a quarter hours to spare this light-hearted debate is worth listening to:

I actually like the idea of it and think we should be flexible enough to do more of it to give us whatever daylight benefits us most.

In the UK in winter we go to work in the morning in the dark and its starts getting dark again around 3:30pm, and that's down south, its even worse in Scotland. Its rubbish and has an impact on lifestyle and happiness levels.

Sunlight has a negative impact on my lifestyle, and my happiness levels.

I wish the people who made these decisions considered the voices of people with sensory disabilities, or people who have Seasonal Affective Disorder during prolonged and artificial times of sunlight. SAD isn't only experienced in the winter. Many people experience it during DST.

Sundown only affects the exact hour I grill meat outside. I could care less otherwise about daylight savings. Always gotta save something. Just couldn't leave it alone.

They keep promising to take it off and keep it off which toll a huge toll on me for the rest of the month a few years ago. Last year, I could not tell the difference with all the stay-at-home orders. I was able to sleep in and then go to work later.

I call it the tyranny of the decision makers.
