Given the site in an international one, and members from various countries around the world are free to discuss topics posted on it, it is obvious that the "we" being used referred to all members of the site. After all, this isn't a "nationalist" (USA only) site, so I'm not sure why the focus in your reply was on a person's race\nationality, rather than the content of the message they posted.
