Twitter is a private company. They can do that. The 1st amendment is about government censorship.

I think that even the government has the right to restrict free speech when it comes to encouraging violent attacks without provocation that warrants self defense.

The reason why I think that none of them should use facebook or twitter etc is that one can gain an unfair advantage if one has the time to spend on the sites, where the politicians who spend more time working on our behalf do not have much time for these social media sites. Yes, the first amendment is not absolute. The point was rather private businesses have a far greater latitude to prevent speech than the government.

Unlike most trolls with extra accounts he's too stupid to pretend to not be the same guy.

Apparently, a lot of Trump supporters are turning to (or have already turned to) Parler as an alternative to Twitter, Facebook etc.

... but now, Google has also suspended the "Parler" app.

And apple has given Parler 24 hours to provide a moderation plan . Otherwise, it might be banned from Apple, too.

I just went to the play store out of curiosity to try and download Parler. Although Google bwas apologetic about Parler being unavailable, they suggested instead that I download one from a list of other social media apps including the Trump 2020 official app.

President Trump@POTUS ( US government account ) is still an active account , @RealDonaldTrump account is suspended.
Once Mr. Biden takes office, the "President Trump" account will be blocked, and only an account like "President Biden@POTUS" will be allowed.
