MTG stripped of committee assignments

It is fair to point out that MTG started walking back her delusionary claims only after it became obvious to her that she would be held accountable for them.  Some people will say anything they want until someone else calls them out, asks for proof, or threatens to dismiss them from positions of authority and influence.

In politics, one never leads with a request without first showing some clout.  Now that the Dems have done this, the next step would be to suggest that if she recants, the Dems will lighten up on her, and maybe put her back on a committee.

Maybe.

In other words, they took away her juice, and may offer to return it if she agrees to play nice.

It seems this hasn't had affected those who support her:
