Given Trump's notorious inability to distance himself from conspiracy theorists, coupled with his continual allegations of electoral fraud in recent months (so far with no supporting evidence), I am not in the least surprised. Trump continually spouts nonsense, he's also willing to fan the flames for more extreme talking heads when he should be damping them down. And Trump has been a champion of that, he's very keen on undermining the credibility of everyone but himself with gossip, speculation and other forms of fact-free 'shade'.

The difficulty for Republicans will be separating the genuine political concerns of most Trump supporters back out from the hysteria that's been generated by Trump himself and the more extreme political and religious commentators who've been orbiting around him. It's by no means clear how they're going to manage that.

Nah, not offended. I remember that clip. I remember thinking “Uhh, is this guy talking about froggies switching genders? (That’s a thing - many animals can switch genders if necessary to reproduce.) To me, Alex Jones embodies the spirit of every right-wing nut-job out there -- getting their facts wrong, believing it indicates something sinister, and then getting enraged over what they only believe to be true.
