Second guess, Kate.

Charles is a staunch old-school British royal (despite his odd childhood). I recall a radio interview he gave where he tried to sell his "green" carbon-nuetral crudentials by saying he converted his bentley or aston martin engine so it used his excess white wine as fuel. Of course he didn't hide the fact his wine cellar is so full that he can throw away bottles of his white wine

He has a penchant for lacking empathy and being somewhat cruel not unlike his father (although Phillip is far more funny than Charles).

I think Camilla is very careful given she is under the microscope so she isn't a candidate.

But I agree with your second choice - Kate. Kate is a commoner and not schooled in the art of highborn aristocratic etiquette. A lot of her attempts to lure William were largely based on her "feminine charms" rather than her wit or personality (neither of which she has). I think she and Sarah Ferguson are likely to blurt out something stupid, especially since Kate was known to be jealous of Meaghan's popularity.

Quote:
One of the most contentious claims made in Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey this week was that one about race.

A member of the Royal Family is alleged to have raised questions or concerns about ‘how dark’ the skin of Meghan’s child might be.

And the uproar that ensued has been deafening, with the word ‘racist’ recurring in almost every news report.

But I would ask for a moment’s pause and reflection. Before we leap to the conclusion that this was a vulgar, racist question, we should recognise that we know neither the context nor the intent behind the supposed inquiry.

The article neglected to mention that HRH Prince Phillip refers to the honourable gentleman as Lt Thomas Olisa

It was a 'he' so that rules out married ins...

(Of course if Diana had a dalliance, it doesn't rule out non-blood relations...)

If it was Andy they'd just say. If it was Camilla 1 she's a woman and 2 they'd just say. It's someone popular who 'matters'.

I think it was an heir to the throne which is why it'd be too damaging to say.

Yes, Charles is technically the heir, unless he abdicates in favor of WIlliam. Kate stands to be a queen consort then.

Charles is an avid gardener so I have a soft spot for him.I’ve seen him do an interview on Gardner’s World and he seemed nice.I think he would rather be in the garden than on the throne.

I don’t think Harry would have told Meghan if it was his father.

The person who vigorously tried to break up Meghan and Harry was William. William is on the record for telling Harry "she's no good". Given he's the sparkly "kind one" in the family I'd hate to think what gold-digging Kate, horse face Camila, cheesy Charles or creepy Andy think of Meghan.

I don't think any normal girl would want to live at the behest of in-laws who dislike you.

Gah, why am I reading this - and why am I posting to it?

There is one royal who has form - at least for being totally blind to causing race-related offence: Princess Michael of Kent.

Well, in the tabloids maybe - but they don't have much of a record of factually honest journalism.

Personally, I think it`s all semantics. They changed natural curiosity to “concern” to cause trouble.

So, someone asked the natural question “I wonder what skin colour he`ll be?” which gets asked in all multi-racial families before a baby is born, black & Asian inc and isn’t racist, to “I’m really concerned your kid won’t be white".

I’m sure this gets mentioned plenty of times among racist parents, but its at the beginning of a relationship, not after they walked down the aisle.

I mean 20-30 somethings in a relationship finally getting married to millions of people. Who would have thought they would have sex and there would be a baby? They only express "concern" now? I don’t buy it.

It doesn’t make any sense so it probably didn’t happen, it was just cheap revenge to cause trouble.

Blame it on Andrew.

His reputation is in the crapper anyway.

So make him the fall guy.

The Duke of Edinburgh could be another likely fit.
If it was him I seriously doubt he intended anything racist, but he's from another time and certainly prone to making some spectacular gaffes: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39806145

As for Prince Andrew, he must be bricking it now that Ghislaine Maxwell is in line for court appearances.
He got a lucky break with Epstein taking an early exit but if that really was suicide, there's no way it will be allowed to happen with Maxwell.

Oh I shouldn't like to speculate, well maybe a little,.. the Ferguson sisters. Meaning the royal wives of Windsor who finished a hat trick at the altar, not chapel of love, either Beatrice Fairweather or badmouthed unscrupulous Andrew who's had more flings with the press than shy prince Ardvard.
Anyhoo, let's see if the Queen or Charles has recounted their heirlooms of late as the crown jewels are starting to look tacky after a night in the tower which I am sure the lost damsel in distress felt at having to play the part of Cinderella and princess for a day. Gleaming prince Harry may need to polish up his next batch of words before another mob speaks out.

My guess would be Princess Michael of Kent, as she's worn a racist brooch to an event after Harry's engagement announcement was made.

No I think for Harry to feel slighted it's somebody closer to the throne. Princess Michael has already made her bed with that tasteless/racist brooch that she handpicked to inflame Meghan.
