Using just the first words that came to mind, without analyzing any of them, I got 77.15. Not particularly surprising, if asked to guess my level of creativity, I would probably have said “about average.”

Now I’m going to see what I get if I actually put some real thought into it :nerdy:

I'm a very divergent thinker, but I wouldn't equate it to creativity.

It's a form of creativity, even if there's others it's still something to be proud of.

I've always been better with deductive reasoning or thought: moving from a big picture concept and deconstructing it into smaller pieces and micro details. I can't go the other way round, putting pieces together to see a whole using inductive construction. I can't even understand the idea of a gestalt.

Creative? Not really in my case. I'd call it scattered. 8)

89.93 that time, higher than 96.29%.

Didn’t include my percentage last time, it was 44-something.

My words were like dog, rock, soap, etc. I just thought of random simple items.

What were your other three that they didn't count?

I had "loss", "bandeau", and "trajectory".

The 'Divergent Association Task' is discussed in Quora (LINK).

Wikipedia (as of this writing) has not developed a listing 'Divergent Association Task.' I feel that negative-leaning indifference to the notions that such measures can properly assess creativity!

I’m not very creative at all. It took me forever to just figure out the directions. 8O :D

I put a bunch of nouns, and then realized that it said you have to make them as different from each other as possible. Half my answers changed. I am not that creative either. lol

I remember the directions were to put in ONLY nouns.

And now…having read the quora link…I see that the words were supposed to be each word different from all the other words on the list. I read it as each word to be different from the previous word.

No wonder I have spent most of my life confused. :|

It's hard. I tried it again a few times, very intent on choosing a variety of unrelated nouns.

The highest I was able to get was 95 point something.

It's a good activity for brain injuries or vocabulary development.
