Every time I’ve gone down the hole on Hunter Biden I’ve found a lot of untruth. I have also found that he has made a lot of minimally earned money off the name, but I’m not convinced he has sought to; it tends to mostly remind me how slimy that whole strata of our society is, how convinced they are of their own merit when it’s really just rich or connected people rubbing the backs of other rich or connected people.

Overall, though, I got tired of the smoke being so much bigger than the fire. The smoke was always the point.

Doesn't a $500,000 price tag on a painting suggest the existence of a significant fire?

It’s truly bizarre, but Hunter doesn’t set the prices. Again, if anything untoward is going on, our justice system can go after it, and probably already is.

A person with integrity would refuse to accept "the bad look" of accepting obvious attempts at currying favour with his dad. 8)

The son's integrity isn't my business, IMHO. He isn't in office and he isn't up for election. He's subject to the same rules and consequences the rest of us are.

Good point, but wasn't it reported that Uncle Joe set his son up with a lucrative employment opportunity in one of the European countries (or was it China?) when he was not qualified for the job?
Made millions as some sort of consultant, from memory?

It tells me that Hunter Biden isn't a public official in any way, shape or form and, thus, isn't supposed to be fair game to the media. Beyond making an amusing side show for the president's political opponents, the son is irrelevant to the public interest and should be treated as such.

You mean like Trump's kids? Naw, the media never went after them. Pppffttt!! !

I feel like for the sake of optics alone, Joe should just set Hunter up on an island off the coast of Thailand with all the hookers and blow he wants, and order the Secret Service to shoot him if he tries to leave before the end of his presidency.

Thats a good idea but what about all of those "Art Lovers" who are clamoring to pay big bucks for an original Hunter Biden painting?
The whole money laundering scheme would be gone.

Oh, I'm sure they'd find some other "modern art" to overpay for and donate for the tax benefits, and what else does Hunter need the money for if he's well supplied with women and drugs?

Joking aside, I was actually shocked at the art dealing thing, the optics alone are so bad and it's not like the Bidens are poor.

What "juicy" information is on Hunter's laptop?

Well, the one he forgot at the repair shop contained some emails concerning his business dealing that suggested he might be delivering kickbacks to his father, in addition to some rather salacious photos and such, but the media actively suppressed the story, and we really don't know what kind of investigation was carried out regarding the potential corruption.

Now, this other laptop that he apparently had stolen by a Russian hooker is a total mystery, nobody knows what might be on it, but it's probably embarrassing based on the last one.

According to the article, this is the 3rd laptop he has lost possesion of: The first was at the computer repair shop, whilst the second was seized by federal agents...

.

I'm assuming the salacious photos were more of an embarrassment than politically damaging (I recall George Bush Jr. and Sarah Palin had a similar problem children).

Regarding the kickbacks to his father Joe, I'm assuming if these were "serious" then wouldn't they have been investigated? I'm assuming Joe Biden would have had the secret service managing any potential damage from his son and anything he has on his laptops. Doesn't seem like much risk to the Biden administration but more social embarrassment to Joe and his wife that their son is a loose cannon.

That's just it, we don't know, and the story was squelched here, you couldn't even mention it on social media without getting your account locked, while all the mainstream media trotted out a bunch of former CIA and NSA guys who are now on their payroll claiming that the laptop "had all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation", without ever backing up that statement, and the Bidens never really denied the contents. Maybe you trust your government when it comes to stuff like that, but I don't, it's kind of an American tradition.

Recall that time Hunter's girlfriend (his dead brother's widow btw) thew his gun away in a public trashcan, and then the US Secret Service tried to confiscate the paperwork from the dealer who sold it to him just in case it turned up in a crime? Did you know that by lying on the 4473 he had to fill out to purchase the gun in 2018, he committed a felony carrying a potential 10 year prison sentence? Think there was any investigation of any of that?

This is definitely a video of Hunter Biden with his face blurred out, and not somebody else.
Tabloids never hire lookalikes so they can make up fake stories.
They'd sell too many papers if they did that.

That laptop in Delaware also definitely belonged to Hunter Biden, no doubt about it.
He definitely flew all the way from California to drop it off, personally, and sloppily forged his own signature.
He prefers shops who snoop through your unencrypted headerless emails.
