This is probably the pavlovian dog bell response, bypassing the brain. 8)

Quite likely. It certainly seems to come across as a reflexive responce, rather than one formed through rational thought.

After 4 years of the reflexive "Orange man bad" responces, no doubt responding in such ways to alternative stimuli would become a hard habit to break...

Hyperpartisanship is messmerising. 8O

Or maybe the reflexive response is to assume every comment you can't personally see the logic in as hyper-partisan? It's a convenient way to write points off, isn't it? Assume its partisan and, thus, excuse yourself from having to think too hard about it.

Ahh, well you don't have a giant media conglomerate hyperventilating and pointing to them for views and other reasons, so why would you know about them?

You mean like the way the Murdoch owned news does with anything remotely left wing?

Is the media hyperventilating about any of the extremist groups? My sources aren't; I can't speak for ones I don't use.

It makes news when they do something. The ones on the left haven't been doing much lately, unless you know something I don't. Nor the right; actually. Not since January. Summer 2020 was ... confusing. So many extremists of all stripes getting involved simply because unrest of any sort is the perfect opportunity to sew chaos.

I am a necromancer now.
I can't stand this.

The blue Chinese character on his epaulette is "公支".
But the correct spelling is "公安".
I would suggest that this scammer (or CNN) spend more money on buying film and television props.

If you're interested in this matter, here's a real Chinese ex-cop, unofficial video maker, pointing out more bug.

Hmmm...CNN has given the CCP a lot of ammunition to promote hatred of the West.
CNN is making trouble for us anti-government activists.

@Skinned wolf

The Uyghur torture allegations are corroborated by many refugees fleeing China. The details may be difficult to exactly confirm but the overall picture is that these "re-education" camps involve deprivation of civil liberties and (based on the testimony) much worse acts including mass rape of Uyghur women.

Again torture is also corroborated by people who belong to Falun Gong, other minority groups, political activists and people deemed "subversive" where it has been confirmed the Chinese government runs a lucrative body organ industry where organs are harvested from executed prisoners (and sometimes prisoners who are still alive).

China does not help it's cause by being so secretive (obviously the government has much to hide).

A more serious example is how they covered up incompetence in managing the spread of COVID as far back as Sept 2019 when satellite images showed a massive spike in vehicles parked in public hospitals in Wuhan which clearly showed the authorities hid this information from international health authorities for at least 5 months before they eventually disclosed the existence of COVID19 (knowing full well they would put the rest of the world at risk). This action showed how much China does not care for the international community or the rest of the world.

The level of self-centredness and selfishness to allow COVID to leak into the outside world is cold, calculating and shows a disrespect for life.

It is hard for citizens to accept the atrocities of their own country.
I understand, believe me.
I am only half Germany, but the events of WWII were a bitter pill to digest.

As a young child here in Australia, I was brutalised because of my German "heritage" for something I was not responsible for.
Collective guilt can go f**k itself. 8)

I understand and we should never persecute individual people if they are German, Chinese or Russian because of past or current events.

I also understand if you currently live in China or Russia you risk getting locked up if you post anti-Chinese comments. In that respect skinned wolf must be very brave OR......he may be working for the CCP?

I don't think the CCP would allow me to post that thread about fertility if I worked for the CCP. I clearly point out that there is official data fraud ,and how the CCP is suspected of using the system to plunder private wealth. The content I quoted was from platforms in China, many were very anti-CCP, but the author had no security issues. It doesn't have to be "brave", it's just my recreation activities, as I and others do on the Chinese internet.
https://wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=405176
I also mocked the CCP for restricting speech in this post.

And the error on this prop that I'm pointing out here directly proves the invalidity of this testimony and CNN is suspected of making fake news.
Please don't distort my claims or make an inappropriate analogy.

CNN has been accused of reporting fake news, In respect to torture of Uyghurs in detention, perhaps this exiled detective might be exaggerating his story to make the CCP look bad. But...your ability to post about the CCP does not mean the CCP is not engaging in torture.

Although I have doubts about this. But I don't recall I ever making that claim. Because I haven't seen enough "valid" evidence on either side.
"Exaggerating his story" is another misleading statement. If he wasn't a police officer at all, what he said would be "lie" not "exaggerated story". Because he can't personally experience anything he claims.

Knowing China from Western propaganda is as effective as knowing the West from Chinese propaganda.
I would not take either of these two actions.

I listed my post just as a response to the allegation that I may have ties to the CCP,and to point out that "China's speech is highly unfree" is an illusion.
Also, if you don't think personal gender identity is worth caring about, then "he" is a completely false pronoun.

I'm sorry, my brain is trained to think in binary when it comes to gender. My mistake.

It has nothing to do with your perception of sex and gender. There was also no remarks that required an apology. Just a small "mistake".

As a matter of fact, John Bolton claims Trump had no sympathy for the Uyghers.
