I think we're only supposed to be rallying about how Trump belongs behind bars as usual. Obligatory photoshop attached.

Fnord has a point. The OP's thread was about the republicans staying silent. Not sure why you would drag Hillary Clinton but the modus operandi is to make Trump's regime normalised as part of the American political landscape instead of what it actually was which was a glitch in the matrix.

Because Hillary was mentioned in the article. My point was simply that it seems rather silly to tar one side with being apologists for their team when both sides are guilty of this behavior.

No, Trump wasn't a "glitch in the Matrix." His rise to power was the inevitable outcome of decades of two neoliberal parties that turned their backs on the American people.

Whoever wrote the OP news story dragged Hillary into it. And I couldn't agree with you more. I've always called it a fluke, but glitch works too.

Republican hypocrisy sounds an awful lot like Democratic hypocrisy from where I sit, albeit without so many media shills desperately trying to explain how it's different when they do it.

Look they are all like sock puppets but at the end of the day we have preferences for what we want in leadership and the levels of integrity we are tolerant off.
