Seems even FSB has ethics. They tipped off the Ukrainians to Kadirov's Chechen killers coming for Zelensky.

FYI FSB deals with domestic security matters. Foreign intelligence matters are handled by SVR and GRU.

I don't accept your seeming binary that all "FSB" act the same.

It would be great if the war criminal's own people turned against him en masse as they did with Mussolini and terminated him. After twenty years in power, it seems most leaders (dictators) leave the rails well behind and cause untold misery and calamity.

Of course, there are leaders who do that from Day One...

It has been estimated that pootin has about a 65% approval rating for the invasion of Ukraine.
That was before the sanctions.

I'd like to say be careful of war propaganda, but it's pointless. The same people who fell for "One day, Assad, who was winning his war, gassed his own people with an illegal weapon for no particular reason, doing the only thing that could potentially bring superior foreign powers into the conflict against him" will swallow this crap without a hint of skepticism and thank whoever fed it to them.

As George Carlin said, "It's BS, and it's bad for you."

Russia is geographically huge. Otherwise, not so big. It's sort of inconvenient they have nuclear weapons and a leader who seems driven to recreate the USSR without concern to the harm he does to anyone else, even his own people. The only way I think a "good" outcome is even possible is if there is a power-change in Russia...but even then, I suspect the folk who might be able to cause a power-change are not feeling the same personal discomfort as everyone else.
