That's if he takes Charles as his "regnal name."

Which is a distinct probability.

Yes, I'm not a particular fan of the royal family, but the Queen has been a constant in my life, I've never known another monarch. I am even more scared for the future of Britain as yet another constant thing is suddenly gone.

And she's a 96 year old lady. People online (not WP) laughing and being rude, are just out of order.

The queen has been a pleasant neutral public figure my entire life. She was above any and all politics and never took sides.

When an announcement is made in parliament and the BBC start cancelling their schedule then it's a sign they know far more than we do and they're expecting her demise.

Charles Philip Arthur George.

Perhaps I'm more than a bit of an anglophile.

I don't want our Queen to die, but also I want her to go to Heaven. If ony the dieing part was not a thing.

I thought I was going to die once and I went unconcious but then I was alive again and it was an experience that one thinks to oneself as one is lying there and can't get help "Well this is it" and one can't draw breath so one goes dizzy... But then God wanted me alive so here I am.

But what I am saying is that I was peaceful during that experience.

I have seen Heaven but not during that time.

What I am saying is that death itself is not frightening like I thought.

I think Charles wants to choose another name, it might be George but I can't remember.

Yes and all the newsreaders and sign language people are wearing black, they don't do that unless it's for mourning purposes.

She's 96, there's only so much you can do to keep a person alive at that age. People's health, minds and bodies naturally deteriorate at old age. When it happens, it'll happen, that's all. It seems that many leaders have lived a lot longer than most other people in their country do, even those that lived in a part of history where many people died young.

Do you mean George I, II, III, IV, V or VI? There were a lot of Georges.

He might not choose Charles as his name because Charles I was murdered by the English in the Civil War.

The queen is a great lady and it's very sad about the condition that she's in. I don't want her to die. Britain snatched away from me in one way or another, again.

That is so interesting, thanks! I often wonder what it will be like when I die.

I think George III had some physical illness which they discovered and cured.

So he'll either be Charles III or George VII.

Something British snatched away from me once again. Story of my modern life. My modern days started in 2016.
