I've heard they were accused of it, but has it been proven? On top of that, we're not talking about donations but government money meant to go to desperately poor people. If leaders in BLM are guilty of what they are accused of, then they should face the consequences.
What sets the far right apart from the left in this matter is how they call people on Welfare leaches and eaters, and that they aren't worthy of life for being in need. Please don't try telling me no one on the right doesn't think that, or that it's the same on the left.

The fact is that most church goers are right-wing conservative "fundies", and they feed the poor across the county daily and provide outreach services such as the Salvation Army, Gospel Mission shelters, resources for women, mothers and children, overseas missionary work etc etc. As for selfish greedy elites, you already admitted ones on the left are no better than ones on the right. Shalomyah Bowers is no better than Brett Favre.
But you'd never in a million years post an article about Shalomyah Bowers would you?
I never said all conservatives are heartless. I genuinely respect and admire those who show love for their fellow human beings.
And not all Christians are conservatives - case in point, me. Also, there are two Lutheran ministers I personally know who have expressed liberal ideals. And on that point, most Christians are hardly fundies. Again, case in point - the majority of Christian believers belong to mainline denominations (ranging from liberal to non-fundamentalist conservatives), which is why they're called "mainline," as opposed to the fringe but extremely loud evangelicals. That's despite the fact that the Southern Baptists have grown themselves to a bloated, largest Protestant denomination (probably due to their abhorrence to birth control).
