In a live Build-A-Bear shop, it's always been possible to make a drag queen bear. Or any other bear you want. That's part of the fun. Except the base bears don't have eye shadow and lipstick.

I'm sure some youngster somewhere has put a glittery dress and wig on a bear he referred to a as a boy. Not because they were imitating drag, but because young kids - male or female - like glitter, and shiny, pretty things. Before it gets socialized out of them.

It's not like the basic bears had a gender to start with.

I've actually been to Build-A-Bear. Before the kids were grown. Multiple times.

In bars, the content is adult - much like a comedian performing for an adult audience. In other venues it can be entirely all ages.

Drag on TV has made it more mainstream and there are kids who get into it if that's their chosen drama/entertainment thing.

We all watched this queen's antics and very few of us decided to pursue drag:

Well, drag CAN be sexualised.
There was the scandal of drag queens pole-dancing in next to nothing at skools.

Regarding Klinger...
He wasn't a "drag queen".
He was simply bucking for "a section eight". 8)

I knew what a drag Queen was when I was a kid.
It’s nothing new.

And were is all of this furor taking place? Twitter - of course. Another Twitter Tempest in a Teapot. If I had the money to buy Twitter, I'd just Switch it off and be done with it.

Aw it's cute.

I blame Ru Paul. He could have given drag a wholesome kid-friendly image but instead to make drag seem as degenerate as possible. I watched a few episodes of that horrid show and I've seen enough. Just a bunch of loudmouths with rich-bitch syndrome, if you'll excuse my french. I know I just used a cuss word but the amount of foul language on that show is unbelievable. And they are so toxic to the other drag queens. I think things could have been different had he chose for the show to go a different direction.

Western Civilization somehow survived...Corporal Klinger, Milton Berle, Flip Wilson, Dame Edna, the Church Lady, and even RuPaul.

It even survived Eurovision winner....Dani International!

BUT...how many MORE such assaults can we take?

We need Ron DeSantis to save us!

But...here is my modest proposal for a compromise solution.

We can allow drag shows...but only if the guys in drag are shooting AR-15 rifles! That would make them harmless to our....CHILDREN! And balance it out, and make them wholesome! :D

Divine's gotta better platform than DeSantis.
