You realize how this phrase makes it sound like you're in favour of rape, right?

If participation in sex is mandatory, consent ceases to matter. What's sex without consent?

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

I do not support rape, it's about pushing back against GOP politicians who want to make fornication illegal. If that happened, people who don't believe in marriage would have to stay celibate forever.

I am not aware of any serious Republican candidate who has proposed making fornication illegal as part of their platform. And I am no Republican. I think it's been quite some time since a serious candidate anywhere has even suggested cracking down on gay sex. You do know who the Log Cabin Republicans are? Of course you get all sorts of people identifying as Republican so I suppose you might find just about anything.

The point is that evangelicals and right-wingers need to see what it's like when it's *their* bodily autonomy taken away.

Because that's exactly what they did when Roe v. Wade was overturned. Next, they'll come for Obergefell, then Lawrence, then Griswold. Their goal is to reinstate 1950s (or earlier) societal views, and punish anybody who deviates from those views.

It's like trying to oppose anti-choicers by saying you want to make abortions mandatory.

You don't demonstrate you support bodily autonomy by arguing to deny people bodily autonomy in the opposite way.

If you want to make participation in sex acts mandatory you are advocating for rape whether or not you wish to acknowledge that reality. It's gross to use as a slogan or as an actual policy ideal and it reflects poorly upon you to keep saying.

Should be only legal if there is no CNS yet.

marijuana is legal

yes

fornication is mandatory,

unsure what this means. but yes prostitution should be legal

but that won't happen as long as the GOP continues to exist.

Leftists continue to make GOP exist because they give GOP a monopoly. They offer no alternatives, if someone is pro-gun and anti-abortion they are forced to vote GOP. And leftists aren't even very progressive, when's the last time you heard a leftist (besides Yang) say they are pro-UBI, pro-automation, or pro-prostitution, they are still stone-age like GOP.

Yeah but 50's had extremely easy access to guns yet virtually no mass shootings. Showing that 50's views are superior in some ways to modern culture. Note: I am not saying we should go back to the 50's, I am just proving there is something dysfunctional with modern culture

Clearly you're not a doctor & glad you don't have a medical opinion on the matter of abortion. Medical decisions like whether to get an abortion or not should be between a patient and her doctor(s), not some politician Or layman voter to decide whether it can or cannot happen - ESPECIALLY in cases where the mother's life is at risk, or rape/incest etc. What a backwards country some Americans want to live in where 12 year old rape victims will have to sneak into Canada for medical care. :screwy:

Weed should have never been illegal anywhere.

What's wrong with public nudity? :? We have it here. I hang out with hundreds/thousands of naked hippies in the sunshine all the time. Certainly nothing that should be illegal about it. The rest of BC it's okay for anyone to to be topless in public, but genitals need to be covered. Not at Wreck Beach, though. Naked hippies for daaaaaays.

dunno what that means, either.

Agreed, the political left should be more progressive. Bernie Sanders should have been president in 2016 - if he had been the USA would be way better off for it.

Its a moral issue more than a medical one. Medically speaking then if there is a CNS then its murder. No CNS no soul yet.

If the mother's life is at risk then it could be considered a case of self-defense.

As for rape, why should the baby be punished for their father's crimes? There is the issue of dysgenics, but Rome was founded on rape and they have high IQ genetics, rape progeny isn't automatically dysgenic.

Stone age norms. Why am I not surprised.

The left consortium forbid Sanders election because he is a radical leftist that in all probability may have destroyed this country, had he been elected.

That's not for you to decide for anyone but yourself. If you don't want an abortion, don't get one. If you don't want to marry someone with the same gender as you, don't do that thing. But quit meddling in others' lives - especially with medical things that are so far out of your wheelhouse it's not even funny. Leave the doctoring to doctors.

Same same for deciding what is and isn't moral. No one else is obligated to live their life by the same moral or ethical code that you do. You may believe all you want that something someone else does is immoral, but that doesn't mean they believe so. Depends entirely on their own moral & ethical code - which likely differs from yours.

Abortion as self defence ? :screwy:

Why should a rape victim be forced to be re-victimized for their entire life having a baby they didn't want fathered by someone they didn't consent to sex with? W in The actual F ? :?

Stone age norms? Nah. It's 2023 here and we've evolved passed prudish Victorian times and attitudes that nudity is inherently sexual in the first place. People are people, naked bodies are naked bodies - as we're born, as all animals are born. Naked hippies, naked babies, naked families, naked students, naked e'erybody just Being in the sunshine. 8)

Many do consider him a radical, I have heard.
That is part of the reason he was overlooked and Biden stepped in.
Biden was the least "offensive" candidate.
