Yeah, that’s a large reason why I found it so terrifying compared to other things I read or video games I played. The Bible was presented as real, as the ultimate source of Truth and God’s love. Disturbing stuff.
Stories about demon possession, genocide, plagues, Hell, and much more are really scary to kids when they are taught to believe that it’s all real.
