ie they both exploit civilians as human shields. Ergo the civilian causalties are on them. Not on Israel.

Wounding 3000 and killing 12 is better than killing 3000 and wounding near zero (9-11 attacks on US), or capturing and or killing 1400 (the HAMAS attacks on Israel).

But I dont know why you're being a cheer leader for Putin in the same post.

I imagine the plan is to nuetralise Hezbollah as a threat to Israel's northern borders. Strategically that was probably the plan. the cost is something Israel will have to sort out now with their allies.

I'm not, but you can protest in strong words without paying Ukrainian thugs to blow up a pipeline that supplied Europe with oil/gas.

What it shows is that an attack of this nature can't possibly be done in a manner that limits casualties to only legitimate targets and that Israel doesn't actually give a s**t about inflicting casualties on non-combatants.

Your response (along with your history on this topic) shows that you consistently take Israel's claims at face value no matter how poorly they stand up to even basic critical thinking.

Sorry, Israel (again they haven't yet claimed to be involved) never do anything this big for no reason. If they did plant explosives then its likely because they had intel on Hezbollah planning some attack on Israeli civilians in the Golan heights. Such an operation was mean't to nuetralise Hezbollah. You may not like it but Israel will say they are defending their own people. HAMAS and Hezbollah have made no secret they aim for the genocide of Israeli Jews.

I've observed that occasionally, your critical thinking skills leave much to be desired. Perhaps you need to do some introspection on yourself as well instead of always being happy in pointing out in others.

It's probably simpler than that. I don't think that they want to attack Israel proper and risk all-out regional conflict. The reason is that Hezbollah have been raining down rockets on northern Israel for the past 11 months and Israel wants to incapacitate them so that Israelis can return to their homes. Beyond that, there's been some speculation that it could be a prelude to an invasion of Lebanon but that has not been confirmed.

Yep, that makes sense - a strap-on mod tapping into the bus, added with the explosive.
Still requires some ingenuity in getting that added to a device, but it seems much more feasible than tinkering with the firmware to enable a trigger.

You've been told time and again that the Oct 7 attack didn't happen in a vacuum.


Neither did the pager attack. Also if you do a direct comparison, Killing, murdering and raping more than a thousand people indiscriminately is far worse than the pager attack which was highly targeted against Hezbollah fighters specifically and killed less than 20 people. Now I can't wait for Iran and Hezbollah to be condemned internationally for responding, because that's how they treated Israel and what would happen if the UN was consistent in it's application of international law, however I know that's not going to happen.

As highly targetted as the IDF slaughter of 40,000+ civilians?
Killed less than 20 but maimed and blinded many, many more including children.

This might be true, but you're in no real position to be the offering the critique given your own lack of critical thinking. It comes off more like you're complaining I don't reach the same conclusions as you.

And that makes attacking a bunch of Lebanese first responders justified, at least by your logic that says Israel is always justified.
