You are so violent..words incite you to hatred and violence on a personal level towards another human.

I'm not necessarily violent but I've had it with clowns like Ayatollah Ali Khamenei spewing THEIR hatred toward the United States. And I don’t think I’m alone: believe that there are many people in the US who are fed up with that crap. The Ayatollah would be wise to take that insight to heart.

In addition, if a knucklehead like that vile freak Osama bin Laden thinks that an American like me would ever convert to Islam, as he demanded on one of his latest videos, he is out of his mind. Oh, and one more thing, if you want a clear understanding of intolerance and violence you need to look no farther than bin Laden and his crew.

What do you expect after the way you have treated the Iranians. Remember it is your president who wants to attack Iran not vice versa!

Wouldn't it be Gordon Brown with him in the dock now?

I wish it were that simple but in reality it's not.

The U.S. doesn't know how to beat anyone's ass without getting entangled for another ten years. We're a laughing stock that way.

It’s the politicians and media that get in the way. Not that that I don’t believe that that US policy should be set by elected officials. I surely do. It’s that once it’s been decided by those elected officials to take military action upon a country then the objectives should be tuned over to the military officials to do what needs doing. It’s not that I don’t believe in freedom of press, either. I do. However, those whom take on the task of reporting the news need to remember that it comes with some moral responsibility. Report the news as it is whether the war/military action in question is sanctioned by their political party or not. Let the public form their own opinions. And report on events without compromising the security of military operations.

In world opinion it seems that we’re dammed if we do and damned if we don’t so lets just do what needs doing and not worry too much about hurting the feelings of others. Especially the countries that we’ve defeated or liberated at some time before.

I must say though, I do admire the Iranian government's courage to stand up against the USA government.

Despite your 'extensive knowledge' of world events, you've apparently never heard of the 1979 Iranian siege of the US embassy.

UncleBeer, thanks for bringing that up! I sure haven't forgotten about that. Quite frankly, the American government has been very patient with Iran. I think that China's response to a siege of their embassy would be quite a bit different than ours.

Of course I'm aware of that. But it doesn't mean for one moment that I would have condoned it. By the way, when are you moving to Iran?

So Ahmadinejad is coming to the United States? Even to Columbia University. I'd love to hear him speak (not because I support him in the slightest, but because it would be interesting to see him rather than the media's slant on him.)

Bush should be put on trial...by his own country or by the UN.

I'm afraid this visit will incite more ignorant hatred of Muslims in the US. I'd be amazed if there wasn't at least one (failed, even) attempt on his life. After all, how many people have already said if they met him they'd try to hurt him?
