Hmm...

Herman van Rompuy,
Elio di Rupo,
Benoît Peeters,
François Schuiten,
Hergé,
Victor Horta,
Joseph Poelaert,
Prince Philip, Duke of Brabant,
Princess Elizabeth,
St Rumbold?

Might as well add Charlemagne, as he was born in the German speaking region of Belgium.

Also I should add Belgium's most famous artist, John Ensor.
I only know about him because They Might Be Giants has a song about him.

I knew one woman from Alaska who was rather upset with Alaska becoming a state. She was perfectly happy with Alaska as a territory. According to her, if it wasn't for all the military coming in and voting in Alaska, the statehood bill would never have passed.

What about Empress Charlotte of Mexico? She was born a princess of Belgium.

The problem would be getting Belgium over here and getting those few states out of here.

OH!

THAT's who "John Ensor" is.

I have their greatest hits album. It also has a rocknroll ode to James K. Polk "our eleventh president, and napoleon of the south!".
