Thyme,

Your character is from final fantasy VIII. I don't remember her name but she ended up being the (attractive) older sister of a group of orphans which (surprise, surprise) end up saving the world. She was one of the ones involved in saving the world.

The oldest "older sister" was called Elle. (Why do I remember her name but not the others?)

The one in the avatar is Quistis Trepe. She's one of my favourites from FFVIII.

I thought the article was good. I agree that it's a lot better than a lot of articles I've read about Asperger's from the press, who overemphasize Asperger traits and only really talk about Asperger's when something serious happens (like an aspie kills someone for example). A lot of articles that try talking about autism also only emphasize the severe cases or cases where parents are ripping their hair out because they can't train their autistic child to talk or something. Then people begin to think of that when they think of autism. Most people don't know that autism is actually a spectral disorder and can occur in different degrees. Anyways, Heather is an awesome person; now people know how awesome aspies can be even though they're socially awkward lol.

i hope she does well in her attempt to bring awareness to asperger's. there is so much bad press about asperger's and autism being so acquainted with behaviorial and criminal problems today.
