Eh, but law, as a matter of principle, shouldn't *really* try to avoid "friendly fire". This has legal "friendly fire" written all over it.

It is extremely profitable to be the lawyer who is fighting for an innocent man. It is also profitable to pretend to be fighting when you have the fairly typical wage-earner who is caught in this net.

Does that mean if you look twice at a child who is really pretty or cute, you could get into trouble? (I mean "pretty" or "cute" in a totally non-sexual context).

I allready pity the 80 year old who sit at a bench in the park every day feeding the birds and watching the local kids play.... :?
Seriously, my first reaction when I read this was 8O 8O 8O
How can they be serious, and even more important, how are they going to enforce this law...
Man this is screwed up, and then they say we're the ret*d ones :P
I can't help but laugh a bit because how unbelievably silly / stupid this is.
Also I can hardly imagine they'll pass this legislation.
At moments like this I wonder how it is possible to not want te be detatched grom this world
Good thing I live in the Netherlands
