As long as AA can put its failures on the people it "treats" I consider it to be noncredible.

or it could be a personal case of Whenever I hear of culture... I release the safety-catch of my revolver. The poor guy is so colossally trapped in the art world he wants to kill. I can understand that as an ex art student.

I used to be beaten on a daily basis by sadists who always blamed me for what they did to me. Violent rage is normal when you've experienced that. In fact, a person has to be sick in the head to fail to respond in kind. I was a human punching bag as a minor and it improved somewhat after that but I still hurt and I can't live anything like the life I want, just like a cripple, and there are bars on the windows and doors and bars in my heart.
