There is evil within every country no doubt. America has tortured plenty of prisoners. They also punish their soldiers by restricting them access to care or dishonorably discharge them if they get PTSD. America was stolen from the Native American tribes who were murdered, raped and herded onto barren lands called reservations. Americans dragged blacks and chinese to this land to be slaves. They placed the Japanese in concentration camps. They now sometimes enslave illegal Mexicans to be their housekeepers for free in places like New York. I could go on. America sucks like all the other countries. People are just messed up and do evil things because humans are an evil species.

But politics is not what the Olympics are suppose to be about. Leave the politic discussion for another day as to which country is more murderous. The games are about seeing people from all the different countries compete and cheering them on as they face enormous obstacles.
