this is one sad story where we will never learn the full truth.
i would wonder, if some stranger scares you isn't it a reasonable reaction to just run? the whole self defence angle would not work because he stabbed the guy repeatedly, if it was once and then he ran maybe it would work.

well the point of the trial is hopefully to find the truth of what happened. That was day #1 of the trial yesterday and there's no mention of it in today's sydney paper - I suppose there's some kind of break or recess. I don't buy the teenagers story at all.

Hmmmm.... This thread has been altered with by a mod and there was no mentioning of it on the thread itself; isn't that a legality issue?

If it occured, it would possibly be a breach of trust, and certainly not conducive to providing an atmosphere where people can communicate freely. I'd hope that if mods feel the need to alter things (and they may need to on occasion) that they'd at least add a note of explanation.
