Obama campaign & media bash Joe the Plumber
Whether she's an "elitist" or not, Sarah Palin strikes me as a female version of George W. Bush, the guy who everyone thought would make a great president because you could "sit down and have a beer with him." Think about... inept governor, connections to the oil industry, no real experience in international affairs... sound familiar? I wouldn't be as afraid of McCain winning if it weren't for the likelihood of him "kicking the bucket" in office and making Palin the president. If McCain wins, I'm PRAYING for his good health!

and Ragtime, you may certainly have her. She sounds like she is best for those bitter religionists clinging to their guns.

I'm calling on behalf of John McCain and the RNC because you need to know that Barack Obama and his Democrat allies in the Illinois Senate opposed a bill requiring doctors to care for babies born alive after surviving attempted abortions -- a position at odds even with John Kerry and Hillary Clinton. Barack Obama and his liberal Democrats are too extreme for America. Please vote -- vote for the candidates who share our values. This call was paid for by McCain-Palin 2008 and the Republican National Committee at 202 863 8500.
I am with you Palin scares me the most, stirring up all this hate and malice with in the hearts of the voters is just wrong and it not the way to help McCain win the election, Palin is just to extreme for my tastes.

From OP:
Has anyone noticed that Joe-The-Plumber met Obama (I think even with a handshake) on Obama's campaign and Joe asked Obama something like what reason should he (Joe) vote for Obama , in the sense of how could Obama improve Joe's life and business opportunities? Obama attacking him will certainly alienate voters in construction trades.
Others on this thread said that McCain first brought up the subject of Joe-The-Plumber. How can that be possible if Joe and Obama met each other first and discussed his issues?

I have yet to see any proof in this thread of Obama or Biden attacking Joe. It's all been attacks from the media. As was mentioned above, the media has a very low approval rating and don't seem to care who they alienate.
They're talking about the last debate. McCain brought up Joe and started talking about how Obama's plans were going to make Joe worse off. Of course, that's before the media started checking into Joe and found out that he wasn't exactly who he said he was.
