also what you said about 'equal rights', doesn't anyone out there agree with me when i say men and women aren't equal? before people think i'm sexist let me explain;
woman were opressed and so they wanted more rights, and now women are doing jobs they want to be able to rather than what they're good at just to try and prove they're good enough. should a construction foreman hire a woman to work on site barrowing heavy materials if a stronger man can do the job?
in the above's defence (on average) men are stronger than women but women are tougher than men, we may not be equal but we do deserve equal freedoms.
in iraq and other countries in that area they treat their women like dirt as if they're slaves, the religion over there allows it and so if you follow the faith you agree with what's going on, if not you get beheaded and so nothing gets done.

Saddam actually did a lot of good in developing the rights of women. Iraq was the most secularised state in the middle east after Israel. His only fault was him being a warmonger.

I agree with your first statement, but disagree with what you have to say about the last. Please do visit the middle east someday, most people are very warm and kind. I see no difference between Canadians and Iraqis.

i think it's just classed as racism, if you hate someone because they're from a certain country it's the same as hating them for their race.
