actually, I think it has gone clear through to the other side. . . outraged that the breast is being used for childrearing!

Indeed and the excuse is always protect the children but what is there to protect in this situation I mean its a baby nursing nothing sexual, erotic or obscene about that. America is far to repressed, I swear half the problems in America are because of the oppression we force upon ourselves.

There is nothing wrong with pictures of breast-feeding to babies, as it’s not demeaning, pornographic (as there’s nothing sexually suggestive, as a breast may be shown erotically or as part of a informational diagram), or whatelse. I mean really, people see it everyday, what’s so wrong with pictures of it?

So, when will being born be sexually explicit? What about kids eating? Censor that too in that case.

Society is hardly puritanical. Are you kidding?

And what about changing a boy baby's diapers in a women's restroom? Common practice yet still, technically, indecent exposure.

Sex is nature too, but that doesn't mean it should be permitted to be displayed on Facebook's site.

Personally, I couldn't care less about the issue, but do recognize that Facebook is a private entity and if they choose to remove a photo because it violates a broad premise they started out with, well that's their business.

Next up: ban pictures of eating! It's harmful to children!

honestly? i'm glad that they banned breastfeeding pictures, those are intimate in their own level. i don't approve of people having pictures of themselves peeing (that's just sick in its own right. i don't want to see that either.) i don't want to see pictures of people vommiting in the toilet from getting totally plastered.

I have nothing against breastfeeding. Even breastfeeding in public is fine. But it's called "Facebook", not "Breastfeedingbook". Put your face on it or make your own website.

I can see it now. A kid's face is blurred out to protect his or her identity. Imagine the horror the child will feel when society finds out the child is an eater.

I guess I wouldn't like to see that. I don't mind women breastfeeding in public as long as they are covered. seeing something like this makes me go eeeew so I think they should be allowed to do it openly :eew:

Was this for medical purposes or for entertainment purposes?

Nature developed the breast to feed the mother's offspring. If you where to look at untouched tribes you will notice that many women do not cover their breasts, and the men don't care, because they know that is what they are used for too.

Religion and society is what made men go nuts if they see a exposed breast.
