Parents who refuse their children access to medical care for religious reasons ... that's criminal negligence. If my kid died because I wouldn't let him get kidney dialysis, I might as well have put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. The culpability really is that strong.

It's almost as irresponsible as trepanning rituals.
