Nothing, but it was my understanding that the majority of black people are strongly against gay marriage.

The majority of my black friends, black co-workers, and other black people I've met had strong anti-gay marriage views. Maybe I was wrong to generalize but that's just what I've experienced. In California where they're repealed gay marriage almost 80% of african americans voted against gay marriage. Mostly males. You can never generalize against any group however because I've met a few black people who were for gay marriage but they were female.

You can never generalize against any group however because I've met a few black people who were for gay marriage but they were female.


I've never heard of this. Most of the black people I have known or heard of either were for gay marriage or didn't care either way.
