Khan_Sama, thanks. I may have been misinformed about the famous person I had hinted at. I'm not sure how I would go about finding out about it though. You might be able to direct me? Or give me some of your views on it, if you have the time. Gandhi. As I recall it was his own.

Muhammad, on the other hand, according to Sunni Hadith, did prescribe camel's urine for various diseases. However, as hadith were compiled 250 years after his death, it is impossible to verify its authenticity.

Yes, but cow products are also considered sacred. The most sacred Hindu dish which is made entirely of cow products is "panchgavya". It consists of yogurt, milk, condensed butter, cow dung, and cow piss. In fact, I recall a Hindu text predicting the rise of a man from the middle east called "Mohammada", who will destroy idol worship. According to it, he will eat panchgavya presented to him by Shiva. He is also said to be the incarnation of a mythical demon.
