That's nice. A journalist and fellow countryman of yours is being treated like vermin and your reaction is to laugh. Sick of liberals.

If that countryman has a history of being a provocateur for hire, it's hard to be sympathetic.

Let's stick to sanity, reality and adult posts in this serious issue.

I couldn't be more serious or sane. Just look at the people who he's handpicked who then went on to convictions and prison: thieves like Cohen, provocateurs like Stone, and thieving provocateurs like Manafort.

There is some debate as to whether he is a journalist or a hacker. I myself don't have much love for hackers given the number of times I've been forced to cancel my credit card due to attempted illegal purchases.

Again. No more fantasy fiction tales about him meeting Stone or Manafort. This is a serious adult issue.

Anyone who doesn't read conspiracy theories put out by the intelligence agencies to discredit Assange for publishing US war crimes knows he's a publisher. There's zero evidence he's a hacker just fantasist conspiracy theories.

Ostriches stick their heads into the ground when they feel threatened. I've noticed the exact same thing about Trump supporters.

Thanks for proving my point. You used the perfect rag to do so. You do understand what "alleged" means? It is garbage with zero evidence. And The Guardian still has up their fake story that Manafort met with Assange in the Embassy.

Instead of pushing fake stories about Assange and Manning have some decency and be grateful for their exposure of the US gunning down civilians/Reuters journalists with an apache helicopter.

ummm so if the diplomatic cables weren't obtained by hacking then how they obtained? Did Chelsea Manning perform a cross dressing striptease at a CIA christmas party to obtain favors??

The best one can say is Assange may not have done it himself but he certainly subcontracted hackers like Manning and Adrain Lamo. A bit like contracting a hitman to murder somebody on your behalf. You still get the label of murderer.

Assange had nothing to do with it. He is a publisher.

He may have started as a publisher but going by the business name "Wikileaks" he modus operandi isn't that hard to work out

They publish leaks. Like mainstream media did in the past like with the Pentagon papers and Catherine Gunn before the Iraq war. Now the mainstream media is part of the security state we need publishing sites like Wikileaks.

Even if your conspiracy theories were true it would not justify treating Assange worse than mass murderers. They have more rights than him and he is being illegally detained. You literally have no idea about this case or the rule of law.

You have a very loose definition of hackers then. That's just identity theft. Hacking is clearly not within the grasp of posters in this thread. Serious hackers task themselves with fixing your planet for you, no matter how much you grumble & moan about it.
