I have a question about the George Floyd incident.

If the jury does what they took an oath to do, and they don't find that Chauvin is guilty, then they have to render a verdict of innocent.

More looting and burning down black owner businesses.

Many come in out of town just looking for a license to commit anarchy.

besides the windpipe ,esophagus, there are several vital arteries that crisscross the neck . This sort restraint , should have never made it into any sort of use on human beings . By any police dept ( ie. public safety units)

So if it was the fentanyl that caused asphyxiation, is it possible that the kneeling on the neck, could have boosted the fentanyl's progress of asphyxiation or no?

Prolly not ...... have been under its influence in the emergency room for migraine treatment , but the lights were so bright , I had to get up and leave , with the help of my husband at the time , but it certainly did not affect my ability to breathe during the entire time that they had me under its influence. It was a busy night though , so after the injection , they were being thoroughly distracted and did not acknowledge my pleas, to be put into a dark room ,
But perhaps he had used much more .

Just a little more...
Quote:
Handwritten notes of a law enforcement interview with Dr. Andrew Baker, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, say Floyd had 11 ng/mL of fentanyl in his system.

"If he were found dead at home alone and no other apparent causes, this could be acceptable to call an OD. Deaths have been certified with levels of 3," Baker told investigators.

In another new document, Baker said, "That is a fatal level of fentanyl under normal circumstances."

If he was a habitual user his tolerance would be elevated; a dose that might kill someone who's been opioid naive for awhile wouldn't be likely to someone who's tolerant due to habitual usage.

That would be correct.

I'm not sure how high a person's tolerance can go, though, so don't know if what was almost 4 times a normal fatal level would be possible for a person to have adapted to. I'm also not aware of any testing has been done to see if there is an upper limit for this substance, beyond which tolerance is not possible.

All I know is that Kurt Cobain's autopsy showed an elevated level of opioids that would have been lethal and almost immediately incapacitating. This is something the murder hypotheses rely on. Supposing they're wrong he was functional enough to finish his plan despite being a smaller man on a much larger dose than George Floyd.

This is also a common factor in accidental overdoses, a user will take a 'normal' dose after being clean for a period and almost immediately lose consciousness and lapse into a coma.

George Floyd was clearly not lapsing in and out of consciousness and demonstrating signs of opioid overdose, therefore claims he died of an overdose should be immediately considered suspect.

Well Floyd was freaking out a lot but isn't that something that happens in a drug addiction?

Addiction or intoxication?

Intoxication may make one more emotionally unstable in the short term due to reduced inhibitions, but I'm not sure addiction is relevant.

Neither addiction nor intoxication are indications of overdose. Addiction is a long-term issue unrelated to how much one has taken in a single session. Intoxication is the desired result and wouldn't suggest that one has overdosed.

Oh sorry what I meant was could the reason he was freaking out was because of an overdose, where as if he took his usual amount, he would be use to it and not freak out so much?
