Trump calls non-white countries "s**tholes"

Sorry, but you are dead wrong on where I stand. I am not leftest. Least you forget, I grew up in rural Kansas and was Republican at one time. I understand how ingrained the politics are in Kansas, as I personally knew a few of the senators/governors from there. However, I experienced what one bad apple can do to a political party within my "home" state (Brownback). Glad to say I escaped that state of disillusion. Since then, I became an independent, not a blind supporter of either political party in the USA. That puts me as a centralist if you can handle the fact of the matter.
I'm afraid if you aren't a Trump supporter then according to these self declared "pundits" you are unpatriotic and likely a commie

They'd be doing pieces casting doubts on the Republican sources and emphasising there's no proof and Hillary denies it and painting rosy pictures about her as supporting evidence.
I just want to see some dispassionate reporting on Trump, reporting the news instead of trying to create and shape it. Foreign media is also guilty of this.

Hillary isn't the president is she...why do you right wingers always bring up Hillary when people criticize Trump?

What attitude is that? equality, egalitarianism for all?
The left supports egalitarianism and equality but only if it's under their terms.
But I was thinking more of the arrogance and condescension shown towards one of the biggest if not the biggest demographic they claim to be in support of; the "working class".
Keep it up though, the more you and your kind post here the deeper we can find out how deep the rabbit hole goes. Not to mention that it's dandy entertainment for me.
You know, I had kind of stopped posting on WP but you and your little buddy Darkmetalknight and a few others made me realize how much fun I've been missing. I've made time just to hang out here and spread my toxic conservativism.

This new left wing utterly despise the working class.

Yes, because no liberals are working class.

Or wealthy or white and yet utter contempt is continually displayed nonetheless.

That's right! I never even considered that happening with his revoking of NAFTA, but it makes absolute sense.

It's not so much for his calling those countries $hitholes, but because he made it clear that he didn't want immigration from those places. Then on top of that, he said he preferred immigration from a white, Nordic country like Norway.

Really? Then why is it that the left even today represents organized labor and labor laws? I seem to recall how the right has always worked against those things for working people.
The right managed to dig their claws into the working class by blaming loss of economic and social standing on non-whites and immigrants both legal and illegal, convincing them that there's only so much prosperity to go around, and that the "other" was snatching it all up at the expense of white workers with the help of liberal elites. The real villains here are the corporate elites, who have the full support of the political right, when they cut wages and benefits, and outsource jobs, then blame it all on American workers who had committed the great sin of simply wanting a middle class life. Conservatives are not friends of working people.

The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
Where does it say which countries' refugees are allowed in and which ones are not?

Any ideas on how to pay for all of those "tired, poor and huddled masses"? I'm all ears.
Wait, I know. You're a chemist, we should probably tax you more.
The principles written on the Statue of Liberty guided our forefathers in forming this country the way it is. What made the USA special is that we became the "Melting Pot" of the world. It is that particular part that made us a world power. However, I see that certain people no longer believe that works that way anymore. Funny, it was these emigrants that made the country richer, not poorer.
Go ahead on taxing chemists more, I will leave this country if it actually happens and I will not be alone in doing so. I have connections that I can use to go somewhere else where science is still held with regard. There are plenty of countries that respect scientists more than this one. Scientists are already being attacked by the current administration here when it comes to funding and environmental issues, so it should be no surprise when we leave in mass.
A brief history lesson:
Eighty years ago, a certain government (Nazi Germany) started attacking members of the scientific community if they did not follow their agenda to the letter. Many of the brightest scientists left, emigrating to different countries, never to return. That country's real scientific progress fell by the wayside while it became consumed with war. The other countries (including the USA) greatly benefited from the influx of good scientific minds, which lead to the creation of nuclear power. In the end, it did not go so well for Germany. Sound familiar?
History repeats itself to those who do not learn from it.
As I thought. YOU JUST PROVED MY POINT. People like you want to bring everyone here on God's green earth, HOWEVER, when we start talking about what it really takes IN MONEY to take care of them, YOU are the first to high - tail and run. TYPICAL LEFTIST!
You know what your little story about the Statue of Liberty reminds me of? All the real immigrants who really want to come here and do it the legal way, BUT THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THEM BECAUSE OF THE DAMN a**holes THAT COME HERE ILLEGALLY!
SO DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT YOUR LITTLE SOB STORY ON THE STATUE OF LIBERTY! I'M ANOTHER ONE THAT DOESN'T WANT ANYONE HERE THAT ISN'T GOING TO BENEFIT THIS COUNTRY. I SURE DON'T WANT ANYONE FROM THE DAMN THIRD WORLD SH!T HOLES THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO FORK OVER MORE TAX MONEY FOR AFTER YOUR KIND LEAVES!
Sorry, but you are dead wrong on where I stand. I am not leftest. Least you forget, I grew up in rural Kansas and was Republican at one time. Rant and rave all you want, but it really does not matter. What I wrote of previously is the truth, it is in the history books for all to see. The USA was always the "Melting Pot" of the world, whether or not you like it. Did you not have government/civics class in your high school? It was required when I went to high school in Kansas way back then. Maybe you need to go back and relearn it before commenting further about this issue with me.
Don't talk down to me. I think you need a class on economics. Again, citing history isn't going to pay the bills. As far as I'm concerned, you may see yourself as an independent, but you're way Left leaning. Talking to you is no different than talking to one of "them" - the Country is a free -for-all until money is needed and then none of you have any idea how to clean up the mess.
YOU DIDN'T DENY THAT YOU WOULD LEAVE THE COUNTRY WHEN THE PROBLEM BECAME TOO BIG AND YOU HAD NO NEW IDEAS ABOUT HOW TO PAY FOR ALL THIS CRAP!
And Kansas has nothing to do with it. I'm glad you're gone because you don't belong here.
Already had an economics course in college (required to earn a Bachelors degree where I attended) and I am good friends with an economics professor who has taught at a prestigious university. We discuss economic trends in the world and how the future is likely trending. Hint: It does not look good for the future USA economic wise with what is currently going on. Our stock market is set up for a large free-fall.
I never said that I would leave the country "when the problem became too big", I said I would leave the country when my career becomes targeted for taxes more than it is now. (BTW: There are already laws in place about illegal emigration if you look at federal law books. They just need to be properly enforced per the letter of the law, not used to target ethnic groups that you disagree with.) Maybe you need a reading comprehension class on top of the government/civics and history classes that you seem to be lacking knowledge in.
You are right on one thing, I really do not belong in Kansas and I never should have been forced to be there. Kansas (Brownbackistan) can stay put and blow in the economic wind, much like it did in the 1920s-1930s (Dust Bowl anyone?). My economics friend has said it will take them 20-25 years for the state to financially return back to where it was pre-Brownback, if everything goes in their favor. Oh, it is also running out of water as fast at it can be pumped out of the ground. If nothing is done to stop this, the majority of the state will be out of water within 50 years (ie. your lifetime). It will eventually return to the grassland desert form that it started from. Except there might not be enough water to get the natural prairie grass to grow, let alone farm from. How is that for an economic twist to the story?
