Well the cops shouldn't have done that...
Clearly. I mean I figured it was only a matter of time before people got totally outraged about cops killing people. And goddamn they better not kill someone in the protests .
But here is a little survey, how many of you U.S citizens actually trust the cops? LIke in your opinion how likely is it you will get arrested for minor infractions. It pisses me off that I can probably just buy a trash picker upper to help get some of the litter out of the streams around where I Live....and I bet not a single cop will stop me and the reason why makes me mad. I am painfully white...I have very pale skin though I do have dark hair so IDk they could confuse me for a hispanic person.
But i will walk around and pick up trash. I think if a cop stops me I will straight up ask if they would have stopped a black person in the same reasonable way or would they have just pulled a gun. IDk if that kind of comment can get you arrested now days but i have it on reserve for if a cop tries to give me crap for picking up trash. It would be like 'oh I am picking up trash, sorry for doing the community a favor.'..'that said if I was black would you be talking to me now or just pulling a gun and telling me to stop resisting arrest'? well good day'. And then walk away quickly before they realize they could arrest. But of course I am not black so they probably would not shoot me in the back, but that is not the point really why are cops so quick to just shoot people of minorities play judge, jury and executioner on the streets...like no wonder people are pissed. Cops don't have the right to play judge, jury and executioner but sometimes they sure as f**k act like it.
And I don't care if the guy they killed had thrown donuts at the police or any of the other supposed back stories as to why he ended up being detained by cops. Either way he was a human being and he should have gotten a fair trial before a sentence was passed. But kind of seems the cops took it upon themselves to act as judge, jury and executioner in the situation. What gives them that right? I mean maybe if this was like the second or third killing I would have the benifit of the doubt that it was just an all around bad situation and the police had no choice but to shoot. But in reality kind of seems like at least the last 10-20 police killings were unjustified killings of people of minority ethnicities where they certainly had other options to subdue suspects than using lethal force. Also what about all the cops that have just point blank shot peoples pet dogs as if its no thing. LIke they shoot the family dog and then want to talk to the family as if nothing is wrong...after they just shot the families dog because they made a disturbance that freaked out the dog. like what the absolute f**k? How do you just go up..cooley and calmly shoot someones beloved pet dog and then still walk up to them as if you can just have a normal conversation(f**k you, you just f*****g shot their dog and you want them to calmly speak to you. Sure immediately shoot someone's dog just to send the messege that your a big bad cop and no one can stop you...then literally expect the family to remain totally and completely respectful the whole time to the person who just killed their dog in cold blood. LIke american cops have a big, big problem with being way to quick to use lethal force in pretty much any situation....like why is lethal force their first recource? You would think that would be like a last resort but with the amount of times cops just shoot people before even determining the situation its hard to believe.
I mean what of that Australian woman who got shot over here. by the police...after she had called them for help? Imagine you call them for help and then they shoot you to death. LIke how hard was it a woman called...there were the potential male suspects in the area so what do they do? YOU think maybe they would go after the perpetrators but of course not before they murdered the woman who had called them for help int he first place. I kind of wonder how many shots they fired at that poor woman.

I'm not American but I understand the "thin blue line" cops look out for each other - from the street constables all the way up to the top cops...like gangsters

Normally no one but in this country it would seem if you don't have the right color of skin police target you. I have white skin so I probably have nothing to worry about. But a black person doing the same activity would be more likely to be stopped by the police. That is what pisses me off, like litterally people of what's considered ethnic minorites get targeted by police a lot more than white people even for the same kinds of activities. LIke there are people so backwards in this country they don't even think a black person can be a bird watcher. I have heard of black bird watchers getting harrassed cause people accuse them of using their binoculars to spy and say things like 'I never saw a bird watcher who looks like you'
LIke for f***s sake its 2020, you'd think people would have moved past that crap years ago.

It looks a bit like there are people protesting and there are people snapping the opportunity of the chaos to loot and demolish.
And the police seems more visible fighting the former not the latter... Maybe because chaos and destruction plays to their hands, diverts the attention from the original problem of police brutality, justifies using force against the protesters.
The police is a side in this conflict, not just order-keeper they should be.

You could even try the morning after pill idea when things are back to normal. You can get morning after pills all you want in new England. Market them on Craigslist to ship to Alabama.
Is it hard to get the morning after pill in some parts of the south?
I understand what you are saying about looting. I was just pointing out that morning after pills would be an option AFTER the riots are over.

While you are there, don't forget to get a few cases of beer. You can probably sell a budweiser for five bucks or a forty for ten bucks at the rally after you ransack Walgreens.

Another thing that breaks my heart about these incidents is that many law enforcement agencies are not trained or poorly trained when it comes to people with mental illnesses or people on the autism spectrum.

It seems to be a slow process, but I would say we are better off to some extent now as opposed to when the Rodney King riots were happening.

Electrolyte are a certain group of vitamin. The main thing that separates a soda from a sports drink to give beverage companies the added benefit to call Powerade or Gatorade a healthier drink is because of the electrolytes in the sports drinks.
You can also get them in pill form, with sodium appearing to be the most important. The loss of sodium is the reason your sweat tastes salty.
