Likewise dedicated Trump haters say a lot of crazy stuff I don't believe. That's why I end up defending Trump, because it's such nonsense to me. Not everything that's said to be sure, just the kooky and unlikely stuff. Of which there's a lot of. If he's really all that bad, why do they have to make up so much stuff to make him look worse?

Listen to Trump's speeches.....he blatantly lies all the time. He makes no attempt to hide this. He doesn't seem to have any sort of belief in morality.

I don't "make up stuff" about Trump. What I relay about Trump are things well-established in the mainstream media, ranging from Fox to MSNBC.

One side seems full of anger combined with condescension. Lots of vitriol. Plus the world is coming to an end doom and gloom. The other side seems more easy going and jovial.

I've heard the same about Biden, Obama, Bush and Clinton.

They all lie.....but they don't lie like Trump.

At least Obama, Bush, and Clinton believe, in basic terms, with our Constitution, and yield to our Separation of Powers, our Checks and Balances---in other words, with Democracy.

What's troubling about Trump----is his desire to use heavy-duty subterfuge to seek to realize his aim: to remain in power as long as he can.

If Trump just conceded the 2020 election, then ran in 2024, I would place Trump on sort of an even plane with the other ex-Presidents, though I wouldn't have supported him.

I see people doing exactly the same about Biden, and previously about Obama. And a lot of doom and gloom for the civilization will end because of the woke/immigrants/decay of family values/etc.
What's the difference?

I detest "doom and gloom" more than most people.

I seek to never come across as being condescending.

I disliked Bush Jr a lot more than Trump. I knew WMD was nonsense from the beginning.

How many soldiers died under Trump compared to the others? I find starting a false war a lot worse than the Capitol frackus or taking some documents home.

It's usually the big picture I speak of. The greater multitude.

It's like the line from Men in Black. A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals.

Interesting question. Found this: https://sgp.fas.org/crs/natsec/IF10899.pdf

The most significant decrease was during Obama's presidency. Trump inherited low number and did not raise it above natural fluctuations. Biden lowered it even more.
Your forces pulled from Afghanistan are happy and safe (for the time being...) in Rzeszów now :D

You think I like Bush? Heck no! He's certainly no Roosevelt----nor even a Lyndon Johnson.

Saddam Hussein did use biological weapons against the Kurds and other ethnic minorities. I don't feel our Iraq policy was correct, though.

But, from my American viewpoint, at least Bush didn't want to overthrow the whole American system. Trump doesn't like the encumbrances "forced" upon him by the democratic process. Similar to how Putin doesn't like the democratic process to restrain his crazy impulses.

Putin and Trump deserve each other.....

I'm aware most of what's said about one can be said about the other. Nevertheless I dislike one more than the other.

And that's your choice.

Trump wants to take away that "choice."

If it were up to Trump, he and his agents would be monitoring our conversation right now.

Tastes can't be disputed.

Really, the whole point is that Trump wants to dispense with 246 years of history in one fell swoop----all because he loves the trappings of power.

And....as a dictator....he would suck. He wouldn't be as good as Putin.
