Just when you thought Glenn was crazy enough...
Please. All Rioters? Right wing hatred of unions? Are we watching the same show????????????????
Wow, I think after what the public has seen lately, it is not a right wing hatred of unions but a total disgust at the behaviors observed.
Two questions, are there any U.S. unions that are multinational and want to extend their membership to other countries and are unions an extension of a political party?
I like how Colbert humorously stated that while many of Beck's contemporary pundits are making bids at presidency, Beck himself is likely preparing to be Prince of Post-Apocalyptia (or something like that) ![]()

As a matter of fact, the right has always hated unions. And as for behavior, I have yet to see anything about the conduct of most of the protesters that had been anything but exemplary. It's the unions, and not the tea baggers, who are the real grass root organization.
As for unions wanting to extend their reach internationally, and acting as an extension of the Democratic party - I see nothing so different from big business, with their multinational interests, as well as their to-close-for-comfort relationship with the Republican party.
Then, as a matter I had not a dressed in my last post, is how Beck was giving credence to religious nuts in the evangelical movement and their End Times idiocy... er, I mean theology; which he had the nerve to claim was the belief of most American Christians.

Who is name calling and what characterizations? This seems like a fairly stable discussion at this point

Death threats is exemplery behavior? Vandalism? Wow if that is your definition of exemplary behavior then I don't want to see your definition of bad behavior. Oh that's right in your mind it is okay for union and left wing protestors to be violent. But people on the right that peacefully protest are dangerous, a hate filled unrulely mob.
Looks like you don't even know what grass roots organization is, because unlike the Tea Party, Unions are coordinated by Union bosses and are not grass roots (they were once long ago, but they haven't been for at least the last 20 years).
Seriously, stop with the bull. Businesses donate to both sides usually to try to avoid offending either political party. This last election is the first time in recent years that businesses have largely donated to one party exclusively and that is due to the Democrats essentially declaring war on all businesses.
Seriously, Glenn Beck has been scarily right thus far particularly on recent chaos in the Middle East.
I would respect Mr Beck more if he would just be a screen writer for Roland Emmerich's next big disaster film

Death threats? Vandalism? The worst that happened was when union members had taped political posters up on the inside of the state house, and after Walker bitched how the tape left glue on the walls. If anything else had happened, such as vandalism or threatening someones life, I would think this was the actions of a few out of controll individuals.
And yes, unions are grass roots organizations. I don't believe for a minute that those protesters were only at the state capital because their union bosses told them to show up. Very different from the tea baggers who had been bussed in by the Koch brothers for a counter demonstration.
As for business formerly showing no favoritism for either party during elections - well that is a myth. While it is true that business had in the past supported both parties - not to offend either party, but to grease palms - they have always overwhelmingly given to Republican candidates.
And if anyone are lizard people, it would be the religious right in this country. Including Beck.

Somehow, I doubt you would respect him period, no matter how much of what he says turns out to be true.
And this is based on...

Actually I recall now a particular video he posted where he emphasized non-violence quite well, so saying that I disrespect him would be an inaccurate term. More or less I find him amusing as a commentator, he really says some out-there things sometimes. I can't help but speculate that he occasionally just makes things up for the hell of it for his own amusement and laughs at people later when they comment on his statements in total seriousness

Whether he is joking, being sarcastic, or saying the truth. His unwillingness to hold an open critical mind is changing the way the citizens of America think for the worse. You wouldn't endorse drugs on national TV because of the negative side effects. So we should not endorse the model of close minded thinking.

Actually the views he now has were views that he thought were completely insane a few years ago. He got the views he has from research into things.
