Whether he is joking, being sarcastic, or saying the truth. His unwillingness to hold an open critical mind is changing the way the citizens of America think for the worse. Actually the views he now has were views that he thought were completely insane a few years ago. He got the views he has from research into things.


More likely, Beck's been researching the ramblings of the lunatic fringe, in order to secure an audience.

Is the Union engaging in the destruction of recall petitions that may have had signatures okay in your mind? It shouldn't because that is the same thing as destroying ballots with people's votes already cast.

But what does that have anything to do with the labor protest in Wisconsin - today, year 2011?
Just because those union protesters in that instance were behaving badly does not mean those in Madison were. And I stand by my original claim that the Wisconsin union members behaved very well.
And isn't your claim that all union members are culpable for the actions of a few is the same as if I brought up how an Alaskan tea bagger had forced another driver off the road with his pickup, because the driver of the second car had had an Obama sticker, thereby blaming all tea party members?

I'm not saying all union members are culpable, the question is about their leadership as to whether or not they are culpable. I also find it funny that you rush to call the tea party racist yet you expect me to dismiss what union members do.

When did I, in this instance, call the tea party racist? If you're referring to that incident in Alaska; I don't know if his actions are motivated by racial hatred. I was using that only as an example of how you can indict all people in a particular movement, for the actions of the few - - such as with Wisconsin union members.

Pretty obvious how this discussion was going to turn out. Stupid, teabagger, pathological...

Hey all, how's that Global Warming argument going, after people on this very site pointed out leaked emails on a Russian file server a few months before the story made Global impact? From my memory the same tactics, name calling and calls of crazy loony denialists were received. Pick apart Beck's research or take the easier road, and dismiss him because the NY Times told you to do it. I'm not a "crazy fundy" or have a woody for Beck, just an Aspie that likes to get to the bottom of things and is tired of these kinds of tactics because at the end of the day we all lose.
