There are others of us who use reason, but some of us have come to different conclusions - not about his guilt or innocence, but about whether the jury was correct in their decision...

Okay... Well the grand jury made a decision, it took a long time, its over

As mentioned above I think a lot of people just wanted to see a cop go to jail. NT's are vengfull and emotional like that so I'm not surprised.

Have you not read the rest of the thread full of Aspies behaving exactly like that? Or seen it in umpteen other threads on this board?

Agreed. A person does not have to be an NT or an Aspie to have that particular kind of blood-lust. Some people seem to have some morbid need to see the High-and-Mighty among us fall from grace and end up in prison, the gutter, or Potters' Field. It doesn't matter if that lofty personage actually did something wrong, as long as they can be brought low and cast out for it.

As I said, some people seem to want a cop -- any cop -- to become the blood sacrifice for the problems they've brought upon themselves, and it doesn't matter if those people are Aspie or NT, either!

The main point of that though is that there was shell casings around Brown's body in a line moving backwards from the line of fire, in addition to blood splatter following the same path.

Wilson obviously chased Brown to some extent before stopping him.

The actual shooting was close by the physical evidence.

My understanding is that Wilson was moving backwards as Brown came at him. If true, then the shell casings nearer the body would be fired earlier than those leading from the body toward the vehicle.

By the way, the Daily Kos is not a source of information that I feel inclined to trust without significant support from other sources. I think that it is little more than a highly political left wing site. As with any highly political site, left or right, I think that their concentration is toward promoting their own political agenda rather than seeking out the truth.

They were.

There's a nice string of shell casings going back from Brown's body, as well as blood. Shell casings on the right side of the shooter's position as backing up, and blood on the right of Brown (that'd be because most of the hits were on the right side of his body).

There's no shell casings far away from Brown. They're all close and point to Wilson's account. The shooting took place 100 or so feet from the car, but that means nothing.

The only way you can counter that above is by saying Wilson tampered with the evidence at the scene, but no eyewitness reported that at all (tons of locals came out after the shots and were then watching the whole thing unfold too).

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/unmasking-Ferguson-witness-40-496236

The only witness to fully corroborate Wilson's testimony.

Quote:
McElroy waited four weeks after the shooting to contact cops.

Quote:
On October 22, McElroy went to the FBI field office in St. Louis and was interviewed by an agent and two Department of Justice prosecutors. The day before that taped meeting, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch published a lengthy story detailing exactly what Wilson told police investigators about the Ferguson shooting.

McElroy provided the federal investigators with an account that neatly tracked with Wilson’s version of the fatal confrontation.

Quote:
When asked what she was doing in Ferguson--which is about 30 miles north of her home--McElroy explained that she was planning to “pop in” on a former high school classmate she had not seen in 26 years.

Quote:
McElroy admitted that she had not driven to Ferguson in search of an African-American pal she had last seen in 1988. Instead, McElroy offered a substitute explanation that was, remarkably, an even bigger lie.

McElroy, again under oath, explained to grand jurors that she was something of an amateur urban anthropologist. Every couple of weeks, McElroy testified, she likes to “go into all the African-American neighborhoods.” During these weekend sojourns--apparently conducted when her ex has the kids--McElroy said she will “go in and have coffee and I will strike up a conversation with an African-American and I will try to talk to them because I’m trying to understand more.”

And part of her journal:

Quote:
Need to understand the Black race better so I stop calling Blacks n****rs and Start calling them People.

Just having one person fully corroborate it is a miracle.

The only reliable method is the physical evidence.
