capital police fell down on the job as well as they behaved lackadaisically towards the protestors at least at first.


The invasion was not expected so that's understandable

When the White House is used as a live backdrop for various news items in the UK it's common to see fully-armed guards patrolling the roof.

This scenario going on just now.....

This is NOT "Republicans vs. Democrats"! This is much more like "Pro-Trumps vs. EVERYONE else"!

"Don't 'tread' on me!"? Yeah, said the group who just treaded on officers and civilians in the US Capital, trying to get them to stop rioting like that.

What I find even more disgusted about this situation is that those people think they're in the right, but what they're actually doing is a LOT more harm than good. And they are not the first....

I do hope this is a one-way ticket for Trump to be disqualified from being President for eternity, at least.

Btw this is why I disagree with the BLM 'abolish the police' stuff.

Police should've been involved in stopping all this.

Not shooting anyone but:
1 Stop people going in
2 Arrest them for trying!

Is the goal to have police completely done away with or simply cut the funding for police? I don't know how well it would work to completely abolish police but I could explain a completely workable idea talking on the note of cutting their budgets.
