Probably money is the most important. Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Europe, Middle East, China - they get attention because there's money to lose.

You would think some country that wants the USA's defences during a conflict would "discover," some gold or lithium deposits or something near the conflict zone.. lol imagine that working.. all it would take is one convincing BS geologist or someone along those lines.. fake it just long enough to defeat your enemy.. then all of the sudden I guess the sample was the richest part of the land and there's nothing else there to plunder.

It doesn't work that way.
Africa is full of real minerals but it gains horribly little attention.
Money to lose comes before money to get. To get USA defend you, you need them already invested in you. And still we're preparing for a possibility that they don't come to help us because they're busy in Pacific.

With all respect, I don't think the fact that Armenians from Karabach are light-skinned makes the rest of the world particularily interested in what's happening there. Geography and money attract media. Middle East gets more attention than Caucasus.

Armenians hold a great grudge against the West as a whole for so long, they view the NATO very negatively since their sworn enemy, Turkey, is part of.

The local community are politically allied with Hezbollah; and in Syria they’re notoriously pro-Assad.

Their bet on Russia against Azerbaijan didn’t pay off well tho at the end. Not surprising.

Armenia allied with Hezbollah? They're christians... maybe because their common enemy is Turkey?
Armenians have all the reasons to see Turkey as their enemy.

Israel shelled Reuters press staff, one was killed and two injured.

Seems the IDF are trained to read « PRESS » wrong, I see a pattern.

I doubt the "PRESS" vest is visible from planes and artillery positions.

He is American who recently retired, and recently moved there. He probably still lived here in the USA when you joined the site.

The northern two thirds of the Phllipines is mostly Roman Catholic ( a legacy of centuries of Spanish colonial rule).

The southern third is mostly Muslim (like neighoboring Malaysia and Indonesia).

They usually reflect light, they are usually designed to be easily detectable by trained soldiers and even war equipments.

The Philippines was originally Muslim like its neighbors before the arrival of Spaniards. Islam is older than Christianity in the Philippines. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BKckHIXKZKc&t=7

Then Spain imposed Christianity on them.

Interestingly, unlike the spread of Islam in the Middle East, Islam was peacefully spread in South East Asia through traders and not via Muslim conquests.

I can see some Islamic habits remnants in the Christian Filipinos, like for example… the genitalia/anus washing after toilet use lol.

I'm sure it can't be that hard to see a PRESS vest from a twenty million dollar aircraft with a $100,000 sensory system.

Sorry, but maybe it's time to admit that Israel doesn't actually care that much about civilian safety.

Don’t use earphones:

Listen to the Reuters staff in the background.

Maybe Israelis have a knee jerk reaction against the P in PRESS; they also killed at least 6 journalists in Gaza.

Someone shall teach them that the P in PRESS doesn’t stand for Palestine or PLO, it is not an acronym. Jeez. Idiots.

Ha! P for Palestine, that's pretty good  Yes, I'm sure the IDF would love for us to believe that this was an accident.

No, let's be real here: They're targeting journalists because they know they have something to hide.

They actually bombed a Reuters CAR with a big PRESS word on its top.

If anyone has suicidal ideas, easy peasy, just wear PRESS and pass by in front of an Israeli brigade. Quick death guaranteed.
