You seem to be the broken record here. I'm talking about the real world conditions that kill dissidents. This is a collection of exposé editorials & vastly more in the way of unfiltered government leaks. Journalists rely on hackers today 24/7 when they're covering government corruption & they always find that partisan interests are involved. That's not to say that partisan interests really matter here, we are discussing how to prevent atrocities via grassroots media. You need an absolute ton of hackers to run a site like that without significant data centers.

Assange will be rolling over in the grave before you know it if people such as yourself continue pushing myopic views on the hacking world that feed your own narratives exclusively. You're using him to bolster your inane convictions. Stop.

Assange is a tool of Moscow so far as I am concerned. And those who defend him are useful idiots.

Well then you're not really paying attention. Everything & everyone is a "tool of Moscow" as far as the Kremlin is concerned but that's not really how anything works.

Assange is not a spy dolphin, nor is he a nuclear ramjet missile. You never exactly saw the guy poisoning ex-FSB agents, nor their families. The Kremlin is drastically less subtle than you're giving them credit for.

I don't quite understand how this contradicts my comment. Assange's actions benefit primarily Russia. I neither know nor care whether he acts on his own.

How does free publication of ridiculously evil government & military practices benefit only one country? Geopolitics is one thing, freedom of information is another.

Maybe if the material is released selectively or if releases are timed for maximum effect on certain elections.

There are obviously much more direct ways of diverting elections, like asking for a rigged election. Trump did it & Putin did it, why are you blaming the hackers for giving you news?

Look. I have just been to an event in St Pancras, London for Julian Assange. If you'd got on stage you'd have been booed off. You have no idea what you are talking about. Assange has nothing to do with hacking. Just sat there listening to greats like John Pilger, Craig Murray and others. None of them mentioned hacking, just publishing. Stop spreading disinfo.

Neither of you can back up what you say and have no idea about this issue.

When your response is nothing but aggression & name dropping, you willl be the one buggering off first.

I work on online press freedom voluntarily. You just whine about the consequences.

Look. F**k off. I have just been to an event in St Pancras, London for Julian Assange. If you'd got on stage with your tripe you'd have been booed off. You have no idea what you are talking about. Assange has nothing to do with hacking. Just sat there listening to greats like John Pilger, Craig Murray and others. None of them mentioned hacking, just publishing. Stop spreading disinfo.

DO you really think if writers volunteer to attend an event in honour of Assange they are going to use the word hacker?? you suddenly entered naive mode.

I have great respect for John Pilger as a journalist but he is ideologically bound to support Assange as he himself (Pilger) has an axe to grind against the US and Israeli government (the latter is why you think he's great I suspect).

I don't really care about both of your fantasies. You just go round making stuff up probably to keep yourself entertained but it's boring.
