I'm imploring the older guys in here to acknowledge that wikileaks actually involved real technology & real people beyond the figurehead journalists. There's a good reason so many people put work into this ANONYMOUSLY. If you ignore the technological contributions to this chain of events, you're glossing over most of the history.
I don't care about Hillary's old server. 
I'm concerned that there's ignorance here of what servers are even for. WikiLeaks is not a newspaper.

The underlying problem with Assange's actions has nothing to do with technology or his modus operandi (which seems to be the discussion you and Powell are having). It's his decision to publicise highly classified information that put innocent people's lives at risk. No amount of debate is going to change that impact.

Lives of innocent people were lost in tactical nuclear strikes publicized by Assange. There are two sides to every coin & there are consequences to every geopolitical action. As an American, my life is worth no more than an Afghani or Iraqi.
