American foreign policy hasn't changed in 70 years. You can't have it both ways. On the one hand to highlight corruption (I have no problem with that) but then compromise national security is another matter because it impacts on your safety and mine.

Assange has provided one valuable service (like many hackers who are captured) in that they point to weaknesses in the security apparatus. The Chinese are currently waging a cyberwar on the west, Israel the US and the western alliance need to be strong and in alliance to keep the safety of the western world intact otherwise we will have more 9-11s

I'm not against hackers, I support them. But Assange isn't a hacker, he publishes from whistleblowers and hackers.
