Funny... we didn't have Y2K hysteria here. Some concerns, mainly around the technicians, who apparently made sure everything was prepared.

Police release image of two men as part of investigation into toilet paper theft
NSW Police are appealing for help in finding two men who they want to speak to in relation to a brazen act of toilet paper theft.

Police are hunting two men who they say have stolen toilet paper.

NSW Police released an image of the men allegedly caught in the act in Sydney’s south west at the weekend.

They said the two men attended supermarkets in Granville, Auburn, Bass Hill and Lidcombe and accessed restricted storage areas between 7pm and 8.30pm on Sunday.

The pair appeared to be targeting toilet paper and stole multiple packs from the Granville and Auburn stores but left empty-handed from the stores in Bass Hill and Lidcombe.

Presumably, they mean infection/transmission rates are much smaller with children.

I saw something about senators currently clashing over the covid situation. I can imagine how that's going. The republicans want to get people back to work and the democrats want to prolong the shutdown. Millions being unemployed and the businesses they work for going bankrupt is such a golden opportunity for the nation to become dependent upon the government for finances. Controlling everyone through socialism is almost within their grasp.

Possible scenario: any signs of the virus not being as serious as first imagined and or it getting better will result in the claim that is because of the shutdown and why it therefore needs to be prolonged until businesses are crushed and people are on their knees begging the government to save them from homelessness and starvation.
