If the republicans in congress are smart at all- they will investigate, look into ethics violations, look into conflicts of interests, get Trump's taxes and start the impeachment process sooner than later! there's plenty of good unbiased media criticism out there. Check out the show On the Media. The most easily measurable metric and best criticism of the mass media is their record on publishing and promoting retractions. Just guess who came in at the top of the list on that front, but it's no excuse for how bad all of them are.

I gotta say I spewed cereal all over the table when I read "Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Donald Trump, said the White House press secretary gave "alternative facts". Alternative facts. Unbelievable. Lets take a major screw up and give it one of the stupidest terms anyone ever came up with. If she had just said, "we really screwed up on that and we're sorry" it would have gained some respect.

This is bad. This is really bad. Not a national crisis or anything , just the epitome of lameness.

Fox says the most things which require retractions, but hide them the deepest. NYT needs fewer, but they underplay the seriousness of their ethical lapses in the retractions. They get held to a higher standard, because they are as a statistical certainty, a more reliable source than Fox on average.
