Clearly that tactic hasn't worked Ezzie

But happy to go deeper if you want

Grabbing and posting the first articles you googled with titles that look good to you isn't deep, it's shallow. Not to mention lazy.

Honestly if I spent time researching I could write a thesis/dissertation on what's going wrong with the "leading nation of the free world"

The fact that I can google within a few seconds evidence that is fairly convincing is in itself an indicator of how much evidence there is floating around the internet.

For example there's thousands of scholarly journal articles on how prejudice is pervasive throughout white America and how racism and other forms of prejudice (such as against the poor) is being exploited by republican politicians and how it reduces the quality of life of minorities and those who feel left out of the American dream.

Yes, like our purpose in life is convincing you.

"Our purpose in life"? Are you and cyberdad a couple? Counterparts of a collective? Your statement is not relevant to a subject under consideration.

If I expect nothing I get nothing.

I expect the same things from the poor that I expected from myself when I was poor. I was 16, with a baby. I studied for my GED, I got it. Sometimes a victory was gas money to make it to the next challenge, when we had a car. When we no longer had a car, I walked to class. I cleaned houses for $25 worth of groceries a week. There's no immediate payoff, but eventually the rewards of hard work pay off.

I expect the same things from everyone, regardless of race, religion or creed. If I am able bodied, there's no moral reason to stop trying.

Australia is full of toothless people, Cyberdad. I bet you wouldn't run your mouth to them, because they'd quickly add you to their ranks. It's the same in the US.

Having a personal ethos to be motivated and self-driven is fine but intertwining your goals with that of Trump seems bizarre?
